Every Monday Origami Do workshop

Every Monday at SIQA, Origami Do workshop is held, coordinated by Lukasz Samulnik, but in the last 3 weeks it was gone, and I, Raisa Budau, new volunteer came from Romania, I cover Lukasz to coordinate this workshop.
Origami Do..., is a activity that develop your ability to work whit your hand and test your nervs. For 3 weeks I work whit a variable number of childrens, whit them we tryed to do different model, like butterflies and flowers, hearts and „crazy” pandas, cats, triangles and shirts, and in the last meeting we tried to make some boxs in different forms.
In this meetings I redescover that working whit young people it is inspiring and also can be fun and filled whit energy or can lose all. 

At SIQA, the spring comes with blooming projects!

So if Wednesday we practice our English with nice conversations in “Let’s talk!” Club, then Thursday we have Cinema Club! Last Thursday SIQA’s volunteers (Vilija- Lithuania, Lili and Raisa- Romania) presented the emotional and true story of James J. Braddock also called the “Cinderella man”. We were very glad to have a large number of participants and after the movie to have discussions about the most important topics that the movie brought up.

The aim of the project is to improve English skills by listening the pronunciation and reading the subtitles at the same time. Also, during the discussions after movie, we are learning to express our opinions and share our thoughts about the given subject.

Let’s take this opportunity to watch great movies together, to learn from each other and to develop ourselves!

New club “Let’s talk!”

Last Wednesday,in 6th of march, 2 SIQA’s volunteers, Lili (Romania) and Vilija (Lithuania), started a new club called after “Let’s talk!”. This club is a great opportunity for everyone who wants and needs to improve their English talking skills. The main idea of “Let’s talk!” club is to learn and improve English in an interesting and funny way. 
During the first meeting, we had 3 main activities: 
-“Speed dating”. We were sitting in 2 rows facing each other. We would talk to a person in front of us during 3 minutes. Then we had to change our conversational partner. The purpose was to know each other better and to create a friendly and cozy atmosphere in “Let’s talk!” club.
-“What happened?” (Story creation). Every participant received a paper with a different crazy situation written on it. After some minutes, everyone had to explain what had happened and this way to create or continue the story.
-“Broken phone”. One participant had to read a tangled story and then to tell the story to another person, then this person had to tell the story to another and so on until the last participant. This game showed us how much important information you can loose on the way and teached us how to summarize in order to give the right information.
Everyone is welcome to “Let’s talk!” club every Wednesday at 5 PM. Let’s talk and have fun together!

ტრენინგი "Be on air"

8-16 მარტს საბერძნეთის ქ. ლეფკასში ტარდება ტრენინგი "Be on air". ტრენინგი მიზანია, ევროპელმა და კავკასიელმა ახალგაზრდა მუშაკებმა და ლიდერებმა ერთმანეთს გაუზიარონ საკუთარი გამოცდილება მედია საშუალებების გამოყენების შესახებ. ტრენინგის მსვლელობისას მონაწილეები უკეთ გაეცნობიან მედია ტექნოლოგიებს, რათა მიღებული ცოდნა შემდეგ გააზიარონ საკუთარ თემში. სიქა-ს სახელით ტრენინგს ესწრება ერთ-ერთი აქტიური  მოხალისე ნინო ლეკიშვილი.

პროექტი "სასწავლო ტური ფინეთში"

3 მარტს დაიწყო პროექტი "სასწავლო ტური ფინეთში", რომელიც ტარდება "ახალგაზრდობა მოქმედებაში" პროგრამის ფარგლებში. მონაწილეები არიან ლიტვა, ბელორუსია, ფინეთი და საქართველო. პროექტი მიზნად ისახავს ფინეთში არსებული ახალგაზრდული ცენტრების მუშაობის გამოცდილების სხვა  ორგანიზაციებისთვის გაზიარებას. პროექტის განმავლობაში მონაწილეები ესტუმრებიან ქვეყნის სხვადასხვა მხარეში 4 ახალგაზრდულ ცენტრს და ადგილზე შეიტყობენ მათი მუშაობის შესახებ. საქართველოს დელეგაციაში სიქას სახელით წასულია ჩვენი ერთ-ერთი აქტიური მოხალისე მარიამ კოშაძე. 

ტრენინგი ყარსში

3 მარტს თურქეთის ქალაქ ყარსში დაიწყო ტრენინგი თემაზე  "Sports and obesity". სიქას სახელით ამ ტრენინგს ესწრება 5 მონაწილე. საქართველოს გარდა მონაწილეობას იღებენ მოხალისეები იტალიიდან, უკრაინიდან, რუმინეთიდან, აზერბაიჯანიდან და ბულგარეთიდან. ტრენინგი გაგრძელდება 10 დღე.
